OPTIONAL TOURNAMENTS WITHIN A
TOURNAMENT (TWT)
Entry into the TWT is optional and TWT entry fees are additional
to fees paid to enter the general tournament. General tournament
entrants must enter a TWT category to be eligible to win in that
TWT category. Ten (10) percent of all TWT entry fees will go to
running the tournament. Winnings under TWT are awarded in addition
to the general tournament winnings. Only entrants officially
registered in the general tournament may enter the TWT, and only
the entrant may claim the winnings at the awards presentation All
rules pertaining to the general tournament shall apply to the TWT.
Participants may enter one or more categories.

boats with the three heaviest fish on the board at the end of the
general tournament:
First-place entrant — 45%
Second-place entrant — 35%

CATEGORY 2
OPTIONAL RELEASE INSHORE SLAM TWT
$200 ENTRY FEE

separate from the general tournament. To participate in this TWT,
you must be entered the general tournament. The event will include
a Slam Challenge Category that caters to the experienced fishing
person. Cameras will be provided to participants in this category
only. Each species will have points associated with it. The boat
that accumulates the most points wins. In the event of a tie, the
heaviest general tournament fish weighed in among the tied boats
for this category will be declared the winner. (See tournament
rules for more details.)
No points for this category will
count toward the general tournament.
The prize money for this tournament will depend on the number of
boats participating: The number of boats times the entry fee less
15 percent for cameras equals the total payout. The total payout
will be awarded as follows:

during the general tournament:
First-place entrant in this category receives: 45%
Second-place entrant in this category: 35%
